“So did this horse excel a common one in shape, in courage, color, pace and bone….
What a horse should have he did not lack, save a proud rider on so proud a back.”
~ William Shakespeare ~
Venus and Adonis
“The mare set off for home with the speed of a swallow, and going as smoothly and silently.
I never had dreamed of such a motion, fluent and graceful,
and ambient, soft as the breeze flitting over the flowers,
but swift as the summer lightning.”
~ Richard Doddridge Blackmore ~ English writer
The horses of Sunh-Kyst Arabians are descendents of the highly-esteemed Lewisfield breeding program and of the golden horses of the sun bred by Phara Farm. Their heritage is laced with horses of great beauty, stunning movement, correct structure, and the "look of eagles."
Sunh-Kyst Arabians welcomes you to a little piece of our paradise...
Where we believe things that are natural are never without a certain elegance and grace...
Sunh-Kyst Arabians is a small farm located in the "Northeast Kingdom" of Vermont. We started back in 1986 with a dream that I had made for myself, when I first visited Vermont back in 1968 -
to move to Vermont and raise Arabian horses!
